This is an audax/randonneur rig, not a racing machine, just the thing for long 28 - 30 km/h (that's 17,4 - 18,6 mp/h in pre-medieval units) rides. It may be a tad slower than a pure racing machine, but I'm not a racer and like comfort. If I can't convince myself to pay the price for the Omega frame, I might go for a Airborne Valkyrie Audax or a good steel frame with the same specs. BACK to the Dream Bikes Section
