Peter from Buffalo, New York writes:

This bike represents the lightest bike possible without sacrificing stiffness. I added on the Columbus Carve Carbon Seatstay becasue it would add extra comfort and only adds 60 grams. I did not sacrifice the stem, handlebars, cranks, or wheels (i have heard great things about the Bontrager Carbon's from perople who ride them regarding how stiff they are) for superlight components that would flex everywhere. All told, this baby would weigh approximately 6670 grams or 14.70 pounds, without sacrificing stuffness, and cost $7963 (the price includes a set of training wheels). In my ultimate bike fantasy, I would also have a pair of superlight wheels consisting of Lew KoM rims, Tune Mig 66 and Mag 170 Hubs, Marwi Titanium Spokes and Wheelsmith nipples, which would cost an extra ~$2250 and weigh a mere 824 grams for the set!
