ExtrasReflective glass bead coating over white or yellow paint, a complete light set, with front and rear turn signals, headlights, and brake lights, turn signal switch that's easy to reach, a "dashboard" with am/fm radio, cyclocomputer, hands-free voice-activated two-way radio, map holder, GPS, and the front lights mentioned. The dash would be elevated, allowing room for hands on the handlebars, and also so the light would shine on the road and not be blocked by the handlebar bag. Solar Cells, to boost the power from the generator hubs. Hokey Spokes, three for each wheel. Kevlar tire liners and rim liners. Fenders. Front and rear racks. Waterproof panniers that really are waterproof, and have reflective material or stripes. Quick-release wheels.

September Brown from Tulsa, OK writes:

This bike is built for safety while commuting or touring, to be visible after dark, and not just some little reflective bits, but the whole bike, so that drivers from any direction will have no doubts about exactly what they're seeing, where it is, and the speed and direction it's moving. The radio lets you jam without having headphones to block out traffic noises. The two-way radio lets you communicate with your husband when he speeds off, so you can let him know if you had a flat and need for him to come back. Hokey Spokes (spoke lights) are just plain cool, despite the extra weight, and add another level of safety. Turn signals and brakes let cars know your intentions. Generator hubs minimize friction, and combined with solar cells and a storage battery, can generate enough power for the lights.
