I was pondering the most I would ever spend on a bike. Ideally I would want a Steel bike that was under 17 pounds, this matches both of those requirements. Also, this is a bike I could see myself owning if I sold off all my bike stuff and started over fresh. Really, if I were going all out I would get a little lighter frame and probably not get the veloce components. All in all this bike is like 16.5 pounds and probably a smooth ride. Oh and the most I'd ever spend is about 1600 - 1700 dollars, maybe 2000 for a lighter steel frame. If the Ritchey crank wouldn't work, no biggy. I'd go Centaur I guess.
