Bike Setup:
Hyrid flat bars

Summary:
These tyres made a huge difference to my hybrid commute bike, much livlier & a good chunk faster. In 2000 k´s I have had two punctures and I regard them as bullet proof. I have ridden thru patches of smashed glass and the like without problem so yeah they are very puncture resistant. Great tyres I enjoy riding.

Strengths:
Puncture resistance,durability & speed

Weaknesses:
None that I am aware of..............

Bike Setup:
Giant OCR 2

Summary:
The longer I own these tires the less impressed I become with them. Over the last 12 months I've had 5 punctures; admittedly one was a particularly nasty thorn that would have punctured anything, but the rest I wouldn't have expected from a tire that claims some form of puncture resistance. Worse still, when I contacted Continental to complain they didn't even return my email.

Strengths:
Easy to get on and off the wheel. Quite light.

Weaknesses:
Easily puncture! Poor customer service.

Summary:
This is a follow up on my previous review. Previous review was for the wire bead model. This review is for the foldable bead model.
So far, I am quite impressed with these tires. So they will stay on the bike indefinitely.
Some previous reviews claim to have received punctures while using these tires. Often the circumstances causing the punctures were not detailed (ie whether punctures were due to pinch flats, or due to (large) sharp objects).
There is no tire (as yet) that is totally puncture free. Even Specialized Armadillos are prone to punctures under certain conditions!
These foldable bead tires appear to be very good (lightish, puncture proof (to a degree), durable, and quick rolling) compared to many other tires.

Strengths:
Appears to be puncture resistant although I have not yet really tested this.
Rolls surprisingly quick! Actually appears to roll faster than the wire bead model.

Weaknesses:
None so far!

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere

Summary:
This tire is great. I use it for regular rides and commuting to work. In the two years I've had these tires, I have ridden over glass, sycamore seed pods, and other nasty things without one flat. Wear is good also.

Strengths:
Wear
Pucture protection

Weaknesses:
Pain in the A$$ to mount

Price Paid:  $0.00 at £22 each

Summary:
i never thought id be one of those reviews who claims to have got a punture in the first few miles on these but in the first 20 miles after putting these on and a recently new inner tube i got a punture, 2 in fact. thinking this could be unlucky or a one off i was hoping i wouldnt have anymore for sometime but 2 weeks later yet another puncture. i changed from these from conti gp4000, what a mistake, if anything the puncture frequency has got worse with these and i didnt notice going over any sharp objects. with the conti gp4000's i would often go through some glass expecting the worst and not be affected.
i now have to use these with a anti-punture tyre liner as i cant rely on them.

Strengths:
reasonably grippy

Weaknesses:
noticably slower than conti gp4000's and feel draggy on the road.
high price.
the tirewall is thicker (but not sidewall) but ive had more punctures with these than any other tire ive used so this design doesnt work.

Similar Products Used:
conti gp 4000, gp 3000, hutchinson road excel
