Summary:
I received these tires as part of a wheel package from Colorado Cyclist. In less than 150 miles of wear, the tire was punctured, just as a thunderstorm was about to hit. Fortunately, it was a slow leak, so I made it to my truck before the torrential rain began.

I am surprised and disappointed that the tire was punctured so soon and easily. I have been riding on Continental Grand Prix tires for years without a puncture occuring before 1000+ miles.

When I got home, I replaced the Vittoria with Continental Grand Prix. When the rain stopped, I took a ride and discovered the Continentals spin up faster, have a lower rolling resistance, and handle better than the Vittoria tires. I'm either going to sell the Vittoria tires or use them only on my cyclo-trainer. I like to take long rides so I want a reliable, more puncture resistent tire.

Strengths:
Lower price than the Grand Prix.

Weaknesses:
Not very puncture resistent.
Slow spin-up.
Higher rolling resistance.
Doesn't seem to handle as well as Continental Grand Prix.

Summary:
The tire seem to be a notch up from the Action HSD's and have 120tpi casing. They have good flat resistance. It still helps to check the tires for glass before a ride like any other tire.
I have run the HSD's into the ground (I.E. fibers coming through the tread), they are very strong very little bulging.

Strengths:
Good flat resistance, good grip, light.

Weaknesses:
Do get cuts but I think all tires get cut up with all the glass. Can be hard to get on the rim the first time w/Kevlar bead, but not a major deal.

Summary:
Nice, no maintenance, tire. No flats yet and only one small cut on the rear tire. In the same amount of time, and over the same roads, my set of Michelin Axial Pros looked like they'd been in a knife fight and I was constantly getting flats (and I do run my tires at proper presures). The Michelin's rode a tich better but the Vittorias are still light and supple and best of all...they hold up. Buy 'em.

Strengths:
Good looks (many colors), good ride, no flats!

Weaknesses:
Sort of expensive. I paid more than the $35 that this site says they cost but good tire cost money.
