    Favorite Ride:
back country roads with few cars

    Bike Setup:
'02 Moots Vamoots w/ Record 10 group/FSA superlight crank, King Headset, Ksyriums SSCs, ProRace tires, Easton carbon post, bars...

    Summary:
I thought I'd write something about this unit since apparently no one else has to date.

The fork stand works just fine. You install stand on roller frame, remove the bike's front wheel, attach bike in the stand, and voila, instant stationary trainer.

If you opt for the fluid resistance unit (I'm thinking about it), I imagine you can have an all-in-one unit (rollers/stationary resistance trainer).

One thing that I think may be good is the rollers are large diameter -- way bigger than a stationary trainer's roller. That has to equate to less tire wear although I cannot vouch for this theory in actual practice (I much prefer "real" riding and ride outside year round. This is a back-up for when I cannot get up the nerve).

    Strengths:
    Stable, easy to use.

    Weaknesses:
    Can't think of any.

    Similar Products Used:
    none.
