at Ebay Favorite Ride: My last one Bike Setup: Kuota kredo, fizik aliante saddle, ec90 carbon bar, easton tempest II wheelset with vredestein tri-comp clinchers. Summary: Great set of peddles. What I love most is the ease of getting in and out. When I had by Ultegra's and after that Look, I always had a problem with clipping back in after a stop. Since these have a 2-sided entry system. I no longer have to look down, just stomp and go. Strengths: ease of use, nice platform, and lightweight Weaknesses: took some adjusting to get rid of hot spots. Similar Products Used: ultegra, look and dura ace.

at ebay Favorite Ride: They're all good Bike Setup: Lemond Zurich with Reynolds 853 frame & full Ultegra, Bontrager X-Lite Wheels Summary: I really like the 2 sided pedal concept. The Quattros are a bit more challenging to clip into, not a stomp and go like Speedplays, but once in, they feel very secure with a stable platform. And the ease of exit is simply the best. Despite that, I've never had any accidental releases. As well, the cleats are a very nice feature. Due to their low, flat profile, they are by far the easiest to walk in, than any other I've tried. No covers needed on these babies. The cleat is fairly low and flat, with the metal connecting piece well protected against abrasive surfaces. ANd they require little or no maintenance unlike the Speedplays. Another thing I really like, is in the event that you miss a connection from a standing start, the pedal platform is quite large and flat, so you can still pedal the bike without being clipped in. Overall very nice pedals and worth a look...especially for around 75 bucks. Strengths: 2 sided entry
ease of exit
secure platform
easy to walk in
no weight limitation
2 year warranty Weaknesses: a bit more challenging to clip in to than some other designs. But still think it deserves better than a 4. Similar Products Used: Look Keo
Ultegra
Time Impact
Sppedplay X5

at ChainReactionCycles Favorite Ride: Malvern Hills Bike Setup: Orbea Aspin, Campag Mirage & Mirage/Open Pro Summary: I came to Quattros from Looks and to be quite honest, even though they are a good product, I have never got used to them. This might well be because I started off riding Looks.
They took quite a long time to get the cleat correctly set for my knees and I always found it difficult to clip in when pulling away from junctions.
Fundementally there is nothing wrong with the concept, but I sold them and returned to Keos Strengths: Two sided entry
Float
Serviceable Weaknesses: May not suit everyone's style Similar Products Used: Look PP206, Look Keo

at Norco Favorite Ride: Levi Loop Bike Setup: 2007 Trek Madone 5.2 SL
Crank Brothers Quattros Summary: Excellent product, I've used Candies forever on my mountain bike, these just seemed the natural transition. Two side entry is excellent. Good platform, never had hot spots. Don't know much about "float" but I've never had any knee pain with them so it must be good haha. Oh and they're completely rebuildable, which came in handy when I crashed and had to replace the outer plate, as well I rebuilt the internals after 4500 km and they run silky smooth now. Strengths: Two sided entry
Float?
Rebuildable
Good platform Weaknesses: Weight I guess
Some shoes may not have two bolt pattern and will need adapter (Shimano)

Price Paid:
$80.00
at EBay Bike Setup: Specialized Tricross Comp Summary: I love Crank Bros pedals so when these came out, I just had to have them for my road bike. I have ridden numerous centuries with them with mountain bike shoes and have experienced no hot spots or discomfort with them. I did take them out on a cyclocross training ride and knocked off the trim on one of the pedals.
Other than that, (which they weren't designed for anyways) they are a great pedal. Strengths: Large platform. Great quality from a great company. Weaknesses: Don't take them off roading as they are not that tough of a pedal. Similar Products Used: Candies, mallets and smarties.
