Summary: The K-Force crankset came on my 07' tarmac pro (which i got in 08' on closetout - woohoo patience!) after about 2 months and 2K miles the non-drive side crank started doing the same thing FSA cranks seem to be known for.. clicking and slipping. awesome. apparently came "unbonded" (unglued) or something.
so instead of "blistering the tarmac", my bike is at the shop waiting for the crankset to make it back to FSA so they can verify it is in fact broken and send back a new one. now i can understand that if some guy like me calls up FSA and demands a new crank that they would want to see the old one first. that fine. but my local bike shop has had to return several of these cranks already, they can tell its broken, just send the friggin thing, i miss my bike.
spoke to someone at FSA and they said they are probably going to replace it with the SLK lite based on their current inventory. one nice thing is that apparently the warranty "resets" now. so my 2 yr warranty would begin anew when i get the new cranks. but wait, didn't FSA have a 10 year warranty last year?!?
dear FSA, if the cranks you send me are sh1te, im gonna return them in person. catfish?
Strengths: stiff enough. look nice. good qfactor.
Weaknesses: poor design. spindle and insert issues. general fear your crank is going to fail.

Bike Setup: Seven Alta and Look 595 with Campagnolo Record throughout
Summary: Don't buy this crankset! The left crank arm comes loose and will not tighten regardless of what one tries. The consumer should expect no problems from what used to be top of the line cranks from FSA. I will think thrice before buying another set of cranks from FSA.
Strengths: The carbon looks nice
Weaknesses: Left crank arm comes loose recurrently, despite cleaning threads, and using loctite. The LBS has had a go without luck. They also tell me that this has not been a rare occurrence with this model.

Summary: As for product looks fantastic but same problems as other reviews.CainReaction say they will try and sort it out.But if so many problems why dont FSA recall them.Have told chain reaction i would like a different product so have ask them to replace it with the sram force. Ill have to wait and see if they do.
Strengths: Did not get to find out due to weekness of product
Weaknesses: Everything

Dura ace, except crank
Bontrager Race XX lites
Summary: Used this crank for less than a month and the nondrive side pedal spindle broke loose. LBS is changing under warranty but makes me wonder about FSA's products. I had an another, lower end, crank of theirs on one of my other bikes and the crank would come loose. I figured that seeing that the design was different and it was the top of the line I would have better luck..I guess not. I will wait and see if this one holds up, if not I will go a differnt direction.
Summary: Came on my Giant TCR, had read the reviews and my first set has lasted 5k miles. I ride with a club and I'm 6 ft 200+ and love to sprint, broke the spindle for the pedal on non drive side. LBS handled the warranty but took FSA over 6 weeks for replacement. I'm going to wait to blow out again then sitch to Dura Ace Cranks
Strengths: Stiff
Weaknesses: Broke in 1 year, long wait for replacement
