Price Paid:  $169.00 at Totalcycling.com

Favorite Ride:
Herts, Beds, Bucks, UK

Bike Setup:
Madone 5.2 pro, Full Dura-ace, Mavic R-Sys wheels, Michelin Pro race 2 tyres, Look KAO Ti pedals, Deda newton o/s stem and bar, Selle italia SLR Ti saddle.

Summary:
I’ve always worn other brands like Shimano, Nike, Northwave, Pearl izumi etc. and only envied those that could afford and pose in their Sidi shoes, but a few months ago I took the plunge. Got a great deal from Totalcycling.com and have never looked back. The fit, finish and attention to detail goes above and beyond. The heel retention device works a treat as does the techno 2 closing system, ratchet device and strap. They can easily be adjusted on the bike and just mould to the shape of your feet. The carbon sole is very stiff, but not a stiff as other shoes I have used. Nothing wrong with that as this doesn’t affect your performance, especially on long rides. If you do buy over the internet, go for a size larger as Italian sizes come up small.

Strengths:
Spares are available for all the closure systems, heel device and heel bumper as they wear out. They look great. Should have bought them years ago.

Weaknesses:
Price. Even after discounts these babies are still expensive.

Nike Poggio, Northwave Compact, Pearl Izumi Viper and Vagabond, Shimano etc
