Added a shimano clipless pedal. Summary:
Have been a mountain biker some years ago and more recently having gotten a comfort hybrid (Haro) for tooling around town I wanted something faster when I started to ride with a few people with road bikes. At 47 I was hesitant to try my first road bike - I find the Dolce to be tight and agile and fast enough for my needs. Went clipless for greater power. Switched out to a gel seat. Strengths:
Good value, quality components, tight handling, ligthweight. Weaknesses:
Little rigid but comparable to other entry level road bikes. Similar Products Used:
Tested the Specialized Sequoia - found the Dolce tighter and more agile.
