    Favorite Ride:
    mountains

    Bike Setup:
OCLV carbon TREK frame, Campy Chorus groupset, Mavic Ksyrium Premium SL 08 wheelset

    Summary:
The tire offers a plush ride and grips the road reasonably well despite being slightly narrower than MP2Rs. At the same time, it seems to have a slightly higher rolling resistance than MP2Rs. They lasted 2 500 km, at which point I punctured the rear tire, that was already significantly worn out, and SQUARED off (the squaring process started at 1000 km, twice as earlier than with MP2Rs). So, even without the puncture, I would have to replace them at 3000 km at the latest. Their predecessors lasted typically twice as long. Overall: not bad but the next time I will buy MP2Rs.

    Strengths:
plush ride, grips the road well

    Weaknesses:
durability, a slightly higher rolling resistance

    Favorite Ride:

    Bike Setup:
Cerevelo R3 with Campy Chorus and Neutrons. FSA Stem and H/ bar. Look Carbon Keos

    Summary:
After having used PR2's for 4 years and being completely happy , I finally ran out of my last set. Naturally I looked straight at PR3 but was worried by comments of punctures etc, and nearly started looking for old PR2 stock. Did not need to worry as the PR3's are even better than the PR2. Sure you can get a puncture etc on any tyre but after approx 1000 kms on them riding through all types of roads and conditions I have only got one or two micro nicks. Performance wise they are much more comfortable than the PR2 and roll better. Durability does not seem to be an issue here at this point in time as there is not a sign of any squaring off. Can always take a far better line into corners than other guys and no sign of tyre release. Just back off the pressure about 8 - 10 psi over your normal pressure and enjoy. At PBK at $34 Aussie these were a bargain +++++++

    Strengths:
    Rolling resistance, grip and comfort

    Weaknesses:
    Not seen yet

    Favorite Ride:
    Mt Diablo

    Bike Setup:
    Giant OCR C2

    Summary:
First these are great tires for Grip and road feel and they would be awsome for supported racing.
That having been said they are by far the worst tires for durability. In the 4 weeks and 450 miles I have owned them I have had 3 flats one from thorns and 2 from glass the last one cut a huge hole in the rear tire that rendered it useless.
That having been said they are a RACE TIRE not meant to be durable. For those of you who race or are supported riders then this is a good tire for you but for recreational or unsupported distance riders they should look elsewhere or buy pleanty of tubes and Park emergency tire boots.

    Strengths:
    Good road feel

    Weaknesses:
    Horrible flat protection
    Expensive

    Bike Setup:
    Giant TCR
    Ultegra 10 speed
    Fulcrum racing 1

    Summary:
On weekend rides, I noticed that about 80% of the group uses PR3s and that was enough for me to give these tires a try. I was using the PR2s and never had issues with them. I just reached 1000mi on these PR3s when I realized that I had a flat on the rear tire just after a race. When I was changing the tube, I realiazed that I had a stem blow out. With our road conditions here in Guam, I haven't had any punctures and I have not slipped on these tires even though it rains here almost everyday. I don't care what other review says, this tires serves me good and so as the other riders here. I can't wait for these tires to retire so I can put my red PR3s which I bought as spares. ...still waiting

    Strengths:
    Puncture resistant, grip, weight.

    Weaknesses:
    Will they wear out sooner?

    Favorite Ride:

    Bike Setup:

    Summary:
I purchased the Pro Race 3 early this in the season, I was a little nervous after reading some of the other reveiws complaining about puntures. I have put close to 1000 miles on them without any flats to date. I always check air before every ride. They have very good rolling resistance, excellent cornering, and smooth ride. I will buy them again..

    Strengths:
Great Rollers, excellent cornering, easy to mount.

    Weaknesses:
    None
