at LBS Bike Setup: 2007 Trek Madone 5.2SL Ultegra/Dura Ace drivetrain Summary: Awesome wheels. My first tubs and the ride quality of a full carbon tubular is outstanding. I am very impressed with the quality and build of the wheels as well. I set them up with Swiss Stop Yellow King pads and the braking is just like aluminum. Hubs seem exceptionally smooth out of the box with no break in time required. Rims are balanced very well with very little perceptible heavy spots. I am not a big rider and they do not blow around very much in windy conditions compared to a deeper dish wheel. Strengths: Strong, light, excellent stopping. I have not seen any wheel flex and notice a big difference in climbing and sprinting. Have also hit several big holes while racing and they are true with no cracking. Finnish quality is amazing. Sexy wheels! Weaknesses: Have had the freehub slip a couple times. Nothing serious, but something to watch for. Summary: I've only raced on these wheels once and am sending them back. It started raining and though I was away in the break I found I couldn't break or accelerate through the corners. I figured my legs were tired but it also turns out each rim had filled with water.
These wheels look nice, they're light and spin smoothly.
The hubs have been redesigned since I last purchased some Eastons with velomax hubs a couple of years ago. Strengths: Light, aero.
The decals seem to be painted rather than a bunch of stickers that you usually get, which is kinda nice on a pair of wheels this expensive.

These wheels suck up water like a sponge through the spokes through centrifugal force, but it doesn't come out again, even when you stop. Similar Products Used: Zipp 404s

at EBAY Favorite Ride: Any race Bike Setup: 2006 tarmac with ultegra and fsa k-wing bars. Summary: So far an excelent pair of Wheels. The only draw back is I'm forced to wait for race day to put them on. Extremely smooth and fast spinning hubs, great braking surface and feel. And pretty darn light and fast accelerating too. Oh yeah, and probably the best looking hoops on the market. Strengths: Light, pretty stiff(some brake rubbing when out of the saddle climbing), beautiful, really fast, and dependable Weaknesses: maybe the price, all though other brands are much more pricey.
