It's supremely light, breathable, and packable, while also being windproof and highly water-resistant. Unlike GORE-TEX Active Shell, it's not guaranteed to keep you dry when the sky really opens up, but really, how often do you go trail riding in all-out downpours? For all but the wettest days, we think you'll be happy with the weather protection you get from WindStopper Active Shell, and that you'll appreciate the greater amount of breathability it offers, too. The zip-off inner layer of the 2 in 1 Jacket provides insulation via soft and comfortable Thermo-stretch fabric.Gore Bike Wear gave the 2 in 1 Jacket some important finishing touches to ensure comfort, safety, and convenience. The outer shell has three pockets: two zip pockets in front, and an additional zip pocket in back. There's a reflective logo on the front and back, and reflective piping on the back. The zipper is backed by an underflap and parks in a garage at the neck to ensure that it stays tucked away nicely when you're fully zipped. You can easily adjust the waist width with one hand via cord stoppers in the pockets. The inner layer of the jacket has a zip-up chest pocket, and thumbholes at the cuffs to keep a gap from forming between your gloves and the sleeves. The flatlock seams on the inner layer are also reflective for visibility.
