Strength:

Long lasting, smooth, durable, easy & cheap maintenance when needed.

Weakness:

No straight pull option at this time.

Best (or one of the best) hubs available. I put 50,000+ miles on my front wheel before putting it out of its misery and selling the hub separately. The hub still spun smooth. Bearings cost $5 and takes 5 minutes to replace with no special tools. Not flashy and maybe a little old school but you can't beat it.

Strength:

DT Swiss has an awesome reputation when it comes to bearings and hubs. Good luck finding anything real negative other than those who nit pick everything.

Weakness:

None. Maybe price. However, they are DT Swiss hubs.

I had a custom wheelset built buy wheelbuilder.com and bought the DT Swiss 240 hubs. I read numerous reviews on the hubs and every person I spoke with at the LBS loved those hubs. I was trying to find something wrong with them but had no luck. Those hubs have a great reputation bor being bullet proof.

Strength:

Light and reliable.

Weakness:

Pretty expensive if you buy new. There are plenty of excellent hubsets around that cost less. I hear that you need special tools to take the hubs apart if you want to do any home maintenance.

I bought these lightly used laced to a set of Velocity Aerohead rims. To date I've put about 2000 miles on these hubs and haven't had a single problem. I recently had to replace the front rim after running over a rock and a close check of the hub shows it spinning smooth and like new. Very happy with these hubs.
