Extremely stiff, good shifting, love the GXP system as compared to shimano's externam bb, so much easier, set and forget.

The rings are spaced a bit wider than my old crankset, which means it doesn't play nice with my campagnolo front derailleur. I live in flat places anyways though, as long as there's no rub in the big ring I'm happy anyways. I bet if I fussed with it more I could get it down, I'm just lazy.

This crankset ROCKS!!! Every time I upgrade my crankset it's always the last part I do, I always figure what I have is good enough and I'm just being a poser if I try to get the latest and greatest. Well, my gossamer was wearing out the chainrings and making those annoying squeaks in the BB so common to FSA (despite my best efforts), and I decided that while I had a good price on this crankset from the LBS I may as well make the purchase.

Totally worth it, I am continually amazed by the progress shown in components even over just the last 3-5 years. Where do I start as far as performance is concerned? well, Again, stiffness was spot on, weight was actually under 600g including rings in the 53/39 standard, which is really impressive. These rings are really heavy to, If I were a weightweenie and not enjoying the great shifting as much as I am, I would buy some stronglight CT2 and cut another 50g off of the weight. Totally awesome. On the topic of the rings though, I did one rainy, gritty ride, and came home to find little silver spots wearing through the black coating on the rings... I guess it's not that thick/ durable, which was kinda disappointing, but It doesn't really matter considering how great they are in general. Another thing I really like is that they toned down the graphics from the original cranks, which I thought was nice and matches my bike better.

Bottom line: if you can get them, get these cranks!!! they're awesome, light, and stiff, and are great lookers too.
