Price Paid:  $225.00 at Used, originally bou

Favorite Ride:
Electra Deilvery

Bike Setup:
All stock except for the new Brooks Special Flyer seat.

Summary:
This is on of the best looking repro. cruisers out there, built before Electra made their frames funky and wierd and, to me, astheically unpleasant(ugly). The Delivey is a great city commuter, it's fast and really fun to ride just like a modern cruiser should be. The brakes don't compare to cantilever or disc brakes for stopping power but they work great, even in the rain. The nexus 7-speed hub shifts very smoothly most of the time, sometimes it's a little slow.

Strengths:
Looks great with the old swoopy frame style, rides like a modern bike(which it is). Makes a great every day ride with personality and style.

Weaknesses:
The tires are wimpy and no one makes a cool road racer tire like it that has a white wall. 1.95x26, 40psi max. Gimme more pressure baby!

Price Paid:  $400.00 at Cal Bicycles

Favorite Ride:
2000 Electra Delivery 7

Bike Setup:
stock tires, Avo seat, Shimano Nexus- bare bones

Summary:
A perfect ride for the commuting I do- Excellent build quality, Shimano Nexus 7 speed, lightweight (for a cruiser/comfort style) and looks terrific. I ride a Dyno Kruiser for pleasure but needed a 7 speed for the hill climbing in my commute. This bike has been discontinued, but the Paperboy 7 seems to be a fine replacement.

Strengths:
shifter, excellent build quality, welds, paint, low weight for the type of bike.

Weaknesses:
None I can see, other than it could have benefitted from shocks.

Similar Products Used:
Dyno Glide (RIP), Electra Sonny 7
