at Mike's Bike's Favorite Ride: Riding in Florida on 15-20 mile rides Bike Setup: Easy and quick. Summary: I have ridden this bike since 2002. I must say I have enjoyed the bike a great deal. I recently upgraded all of the components to Shimano XT and changed the rear cassette. This is an excellent bike and people still complement on the look. It is now comparable to 1500-2000 dollar fitness bike. Strengths: Great shifting. Excellent look. It is pure comfort with a fitness twist. I have owned Trek and Specialized Bikes. I chose this bike over all of them. Weaknesses: They aren't made anymore. Similar Products Used: Trek, Specialized CrossRoads.

at Alameda Bicycles Favorite Ride: Raleigh C500 Summary: A great bike that i use primarily for commuting to work. I prefered it to similar "commuter bikes" because it has front shocks and (great) thumb shifters for the deralieur. Most commuter bikes seem to have the "twist your handlebar" shifters, which can be a pain if you are standing up and happen to accidentally put pressure on your handlebars. Shocks allow some off road use, too. Strengths: None Similar Products Used: None

at Walt's Bikes, Sunnyvale Favorite Ride: Shoreline Park Bike Setup: Original factory setup. Summary: I went into the store decided to buy the Trek 7500. After I test drove one, I asked the dealer about other comparable bikes. He showed me the C500 and after I tried it, I just said "That's it, that's the bike I want." It felt much more confortable, and I also preferred its speed changing mechanism to the 7500. For the price, I believe I got an excelent commute/fitness bike. Strengths: Very comfortable and strong bike. Great price. Weaknesses: None yet, but I have not put in enough miles. Similar Products Used: Trek 7500
