Product Description

  • Singlespeed only. No multi-geared machine from me, sport.
  • 700c wheels front and rear only...no funkified pursuit/woods bike stuff.
  • Round tubing only (except for option #2 below)...as usual, no dumb shapes.
  • Dropouts are--as always--from Paragon Machine works. Bigger than Sub-11s and made from CP Ti for improved nut grip for your SS hub.
  • Stock headset size is 1 1/8". If you want to run a 1" steerer fork, no problem. Read on....
  • No disc brake mounts yet...if you’ve actually ridden skinny tires off road, you know that you generally run out of tire traction under braking before you run out of braking power anyway…even with cantis.

Strengths:    A real looker, unique and fully custom ti, no thinking point and shoot steering, comfy on epic long rides, One speed is all you need.

Weaknesses:    One speed can suck sometimes, plan on a really long wait in building one up. He is only one guy and has plenty of work to do.

    Bottom Line:
This bike is the bomb. Matt and I took almost a year to get the specs right and he did a super job. The welds are tight, the geometry works well, and people give that WTF look when you pull in on this beauty. I have raced road TT, mtb triathlons, and hill climbs on this beast, but mostly it is a great bomb around on bike. I have plenty of other rides but choose this baby as often as not.
