Date Reviewed: July 18, 2001

Strengths:    Outstanding fit (Seven and City Cycle take fitting very seriously and are pros at it), fine workmanship, the overall ride

Weaknesses:    Fitted with a Wound-Up carbon cyclocross fork, it took three tries to find a front brake that stopped the bike well without causing fork hop. The losers: Shimano XT canti, Paul's Neo-Retro Pro canti. The winner: Shimano XTR V-brake with Travel Agent.

Bottom Line:
I love this frame and, now that it has an optimal front brake, the frame and fork combination. I bought it to ride on bad pavement (commuting) and fire trails, and it's perfect for both. I also choose it for road rides, due to its comfort. I haven't raced cyclocross with it, yet. As soon as I can afford it, I intend to order a Seven road frame; they're a first-class operation.
