Price Paid:  $1000.00 at LBS

Favorite Ride:
Any as long as I ride

Bike Setup:
As the bike was spec'd except for the seat which I exchanged for a Specialized Body Geometery Women'

Summary:
I rode this bike across the country and was ever so glad that it chose to go with me. More comfortable than my Mt. Bike or any other road bike I had tried with a great mixture of bullet proof parts and TLC built into the frame. It makes me so sad that if my beloved Orange machine ever has to be replaced I won't be able to replace it with another VooDoo

Strengths:
Comfortable ride, Most Parts and good juju. Oh yeah and the name what better for a bike you are going to ride Cross Country.

Weaknesses:
The seat, the seat, the seat. What were they thinking

Similar Products Used:
Specialized Allez (too Squirly), Kona Jake The Snake (another great bike but it didn't speak to me as loudly as the VooDoo.

Price Paid:  $1300.00 at Voo Doo HQ (Frame Only)

Favorite Ride:
Saratoga Gap/ Wilder Ranch

Bike Setup:
Ultegra triple and front Deur., XTR Rear, 12-27 Ultegra cass.,Mavic Open-Pro/Ultegra hubs, Bont. Jones tires, Salsa MotoAce Hndlbar,Ult.STI, Forte stem, Avid Shorty Canty brakes, Titec Lite Post, Stella Italia Ti Saddle, Shimano 858's

Summary:
Cross is best done on Steel. Whether it be 853 or Columbus. Steel doesn't make feel like you took your very first ride all over again. Voodoo's Wazoo is old school feel at a basic price. This bike will take whatever you throw at it! 4Lb frame and fork you can set it up as light as you want. Makes it easier during those long run ups during the bell lap. If you can get your vibration numb hands on one before cross season, you won't regret it.

Strengths:
Columbus Steel was so nimble and smooth. I went back to VooDoo and bought one of their hardtail MTB. Very good control in all situations. Felt right at home on single track or in the heat of a cross race. At 21LBS, hard to beat.

Weaknesses:
Columbus steel fork that come stock with frame is abit on the narrow side. Tried to run a 700x38 Ritchey Megabite and in the mud it caked so bad it rubbed away the paint on the inside of the fork.

Similar Products Used:
Demo-ed VooDoo's Limba(Scandium Frame) loved it. Price was abit high and stiffer than need.
