Strengths:    The Linear's chief strength is THE SEAT!! They are just so comfortable.

Weaknesses:    Not an off road, gravel or trail bike. Stay on pavement.

Bottom Line:
Bought my Linear recumbent in 1992 and am still riding it. I absolutely love that bike. I rode it once around the dealers lot 11 years ago and was hooked. I bought it a month later. With a Linear recumbent, you can just ride and ride.

Strengths:    super comfy and fun fun fun. Very dependable with proper parts replacement.
It folds to save space and has 21 gears, which I found to be plenty.

Weaknesses:    If you weight over 200 lbs I recommend replacing the 36 spoke, 27 inch rear wheel with a 48 spoke, 26 inch tanden wheel. Inspect chain stay (holds the rear wheel) for possible small cracks, drill a small hole at the top of said fissure should it appear and weld when you get the chance.

Bottom Line:
Best touring bicycle possible. You sit up, you can see everything as you go along, wonderful. The long wheelbase on my linear means that I am not quickly correcting my steering every few milli-seconds. The underseat steering means that gravity pulls my arms down along my side anyway, and so there is my handlebars are waiting.
