Price Paid:  $490.00 at Onya Bike Tuggeranong

Bike Setup:
Toe clips, slick/mini lug tyres, rear rack, mirror

Summary:
Excellent value for money. We have used Giant Options for a couple of years and found them strong, honest bikes for suburban bikeways and small tours on sealed surfaces. The Innova is just in another league with the topline Shimano componentry. My wife was so impressed, she went out and bought one the very next week.

Strengths:
Full Deore componentry, cluster, crank, hubs. Strong light frame with fully adjustable head stem and good pannier mounts. The front shocks are infinitely adjustable.

Weaknesses:
The grips have a very coarse pattern which hurts bare hands after a while. The shift indicators take some getting used to - no numbers, just a broad indication of high, med or low range.

Similar Products Used:
Mongoose Sik Road, Jamis Coda, Trek 7200
