Price Paid:  $359.00 at Bobs Cycle Center, Fair Oaks CA

Favorite Ride:
American River Trail

Bike Setup:
Stock, added clipped pedals

Summary:
I love this bike! I've already put over 200 miles on it, commuting and recreational, and it's been solid and comfortable. Nice blend of comfort, speed, and style. It even handles admirably off-road, but stay out of the mud. Derailers will need adjustment after a few short rides (dont expect to find out how in the manual, though), but they'll be good for the longterm after that. Theyre cheap, but reliable. Also, after ten or so continuous miles you start feeling the seat, but it may just be me. I'll probably upgrade it. Overall, if you're you are shopping for a hybrid, this is the one.

Strengths:
Comfort, adjustability, speed

Weaknesses:
Limited manual, seat

Similar Products Used:

Bike Setup:
All stock

Summary:
Although the Acera drivetrain components are the cheapest of the cheap from Shimano, the bike properly set up rides very smoothly and shifts reasonably well during commuter riding and very light off road riding. The ride feel is excellent for a bike in this price category. In short, an excellent bike for what it is designed for -- casual, recreational use.

Strengths:
Well constructed, nice steel ride, very comfortable seat, cool arched tubes, nice paint job

Weaknesses:
Acera drivetrain components
