Strengths:    Quality frame/fork, decent wheels, good driveline and brakes.

Weaknesses:    Even after the mentioned replacements, the bike is still a bit weighty. 'Weighty', however is a relative thing to a guy tipping the scales at 225lbs.

Bottom Line:
With a couple of quick changes; aka, some heavy, easily replaced parts, this turned in to a nice bike. As it comes, with the suspension seatpost, huge, cushy seat, cheap, plastic pedals, and heavy, steel stem and bars, the bike is kind of porky and unresponsive. But it DOES have a pretty decent driveline, and frame, so some work can be justifed. To me, these are simple modifications, anyway, and go a long way to making this bike a good performer for cheap.
