Strengths: I just passes 1,200 miles on this bike and still love it. I commute four to five days a week, twenty or so miles round trip. Love the Rolf wheels! I come from a MTB perspective so I wanted the more upright MTBish frame and components but with the speed of a road bike. Perfect on both counts.Weaknesses: Trek, love 'em or hate 'em, they make a great bike. Cables are routed across top tube.Bottom Line: Great bicycle for commuting or touring. Real fast and sturdy.

Bike Setup: Put on fenders, rear rack, and panniers for work clothes, switched handlebars and tires, but otherwise stock.

Strengths: AL Frame, value, weight , shimano components, smooth rideWeaknesses: Which I can upgrade the crankset to Ultegra...Bottom Line: Rides are responsive to hammering, 7600fx is a great value compared to Cannondale's Silkpath, climbs excellent, best for bike touring. I like the MTB look but performs almost as good as a road bike.I still resist getting a road bike so this is it for now...a hybrid like the 7600FX is my best choice, plus with trek's lifetime warranty on a US made frame.
The only regret is inability to upgrade to a higher end crankset.
