Strengths:    Ultra lightweight, responsive, beautiful handmade Italian craftsmanhsip. The best of the best in accelerating, climbing, the descent, sprints, etc. All around the best bike I've ever had.

Weaknesses:    Zero.

Bottom Line:
After riding a few of the premium aluminum frames, I have never had a more responsive and yet forgiving ride than the De Rosa. The bike is ultra responsive, but does not jar and vibrate as violently as many of the other frames do. The bike is for a rider who appreciates the elite, the best of craftsmanship, technology, etc.

Need a new fork for a 2001 Merak

I just picked up a 2001 Merak frame and need a front fork. Any suggestions (make/model etc)? I'm guessing carbon is the way to go. Thanks in advance.   Read More »
