Strengths: Smooth ride, solid handling and great value.Weaknesses: I tossed the ti railed saddle in the trash on the first day. No serious rider would use that overpadded piece of junk. I replaced it with my favorite saddle, a standard Flite.
Even though I am very easy on wheels they went out of true in the first month. A few months later they were again out of true. This is especially surprising with Mavic Open Pro rims mated to Ultegra hubs.Bottom Line: I purchased the bike on clearance last year. As much as I loved my old Gios Torino Super Record, I was tired of downtube shifters and only 6 gears on the freewheel. Since getting this bike my poor Gios sits in the basement.
The frame is stiff when out of the saddle yet doesn't beat me up over long rides. The welds are as beautiful as any I've seen on much more expensive ti bikes.
The Ultegra group performs flawlessly with only the rattling of the brake/shift levers to remind me that it is not Dura-Ace.
Weight for a 52mm frame (with long 54mm top tube) is right at 20 1/4 pounds. Not light by today's standard, but acceptable. Fit is much like a traditional 53 mm frame.
