Strengths:    Weight, Responsiveness, Really accelerates yet is all day comfortable.
Wheels are light & stiff.

Weaknesses:    Sizing, Bars & Stem.
Wasn't crazy about Red Carbon Paint at first but it grows on you.

Bottom Line:
Great overall bike, Responsive & compliant frame at a silly low weight, great Wheels (Rolf Sest.) Dura-Ace works flawlessly, Icon Bars & Stem are only OK.
Be careful of sizing as Trek measures center of BB to top of seat tube (Weird).

Strengths:    lightweight
stiffness of frame
smooth ride

Weaknesses:    The OCLV is delicate

Bottom Line:
Well the first time I rode this bike it was heaven. Smooth, responsive and I could ride it forever. The OCLV takes enough of the edge of the surface to provide you with endless hours, fatigue free riding. The frame with (Durace and Ksyriums) provided a lightweight package that added lots of jump to any hill climb.

Strengths:    This really wasn't a good purchase for me. The only strength that I can find, is weight.

Weaknesses:    Too much flex in the frame which leads to a dead uninspired ride. Climbing and sprinting is hurt by the ride quality.

Bottom Line:
This is the poorest high end frame that I have ridden to date. I purchased this bike at the advice of some star struck Lance Armstrong fans. This bike might be good for Lance, but I have a feeling if he was riding a stiffer more lively frame, no one would stand a chance. This bike rides like it is dead. There is nothing lively about the frame. It doesn't respond when climbing or sprinting. There isn't enough stiffness in the frame. A friend of mine owns a LeMond OCLV frame, and she only rides it for comfort. She rides her Klein when she wants speed a response. I just don't enjoy riding this bike at all. I would like to give carbon another chance, but it won't be TREK OCLV. Within a month after my purchase the white paint began to yellow.
