Strengths: Design and execution. Welds, paint, fit and finish (paint) are superb. Very comfortable, even on long rides.Weaknesses: Maybe a bit heavy on the hills, but this may relate more to the fitness of the pilot.Bottom Line: New to 'bents, I selected RANS in the belief if they could build airplanes to FAA standards, they could build bicycles!
John at Bike Depot helped me to test drive the entire RANS line and, for me, the Gliss won the day. Especially for a newbie, the long wheel base offers more stability than the SWB, and Gliss' sus-pension system and seat result in an incredibly comfortable ride. With fair-ing and yellow seat bag, you wouldn't believe the looks and comments. A great investment by any measure!
