Price Paid:  $2400.00 at Bike Friday

Favorite Ride:
TOSRV

Bike Setup:
Touring, with rear rack and fenders

Summary:
All the benefits of the typical recumbent, plus foldability and packability. Even if you don't plan on putting it into its suitcase, give the bike a look - it's not a compromise.

Strengths:
Obviously, the major strength has to be its foldability. If you want a recumbent that's easy to travel with, you can't beat a bike that will fold small enough to fit in any trunk or back seat, or pack into an airline-legal suitcase.
The SRD is nimble, doesn't show any sign of excessive frame flex, and surprises everyone (including me!) with its speed.
Get the trailer option, and forget about what to do with bike boxes - the suitcase follows you. Perfect for touring.
The bike is comfortable, it climbs well, and it's fast. It's a keeper.

Weaknesses:
A very weak weakness - I would like the seat to recline a bit more than it does - that would make it even faster.
I would like a 20" (406) wheel option - those 16" (349) tires and tubes can sometimes be hard to find!
