Strengths: Could be a good concept with some modifications. Needs evolution and revisions I think.Weaknesses: Does not fit me well. I am 5'11" and the front wheel grinds into my crotch. Not the braking system I had in mind! My ankles knock into the pedals as they turn. I do not feel in control when turning slowly. Turning radius has been 2 lanes, mine and traffic coming toward me! Manufacturer tells me that steering on my Raven is reliable despite my questions and concerns. I think they should take parts of this back to the drawing board.Bottom Line: I bought the Raven recumbent hoping that it would be an enjoyable, stable, steerable, fun riding machine. I wanted to exercise in what I presumed to be a high tech road-worthy trike. I would like to exchange notes with other owners to see if they have had the same unpleasurable experiences I have.
Favorite Ride: Raven Electric Recumbent Trike
Price Paid:
$1700.00
Purchased At: Online
Similar Products Used: Mountain bike.
Bike Setup: My Sparc electric assist motor does not operate reliably. Contacts and controls may be defective. Good idea for bicycle power, but I have not seen it work at all. Had hoped for more after contacting the manufacturer.
