Lake Washington Loop Summary:
I test rode six different recumbent models before deciding on the Vision R-54. This bike has worked out great for me and I quadrupled my annual mileage with this bike. (I'd developed carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrists, which really limited me on my diamond frame bike)
I find the R-54 handles speed well and the full suspension smooths out rough roads and speed bumps quite well. Strengths:
Full suspension, rigid frame, good stopping power with AVID brakes. Weaknesses:
Rear tire too wimpy for my 235 lbs, replaced with a Nimbus 26x1.5 much improved ride comfort and stability! Similar Products Used:
