$0.00 Bike Setup: duraace, mavic open pro wheels, the usual Summary: The bike roade well until my Aegis "Hot Rod" fork broke. Having never been in an accident with it before, or any impact what so ever, I was extremely disappointed. Before that, I'd have told you that it was a great bike. I still think the frame was a wee bit too soft, but very comfortable because of that. The fork is a crucial part of a bikes integrity, and it failed completely. It was ugly. A better road race frame than for crits. Strengths: Comfortable, smooth, and responsive. Weaknesses: Not too light, but not too heavy either. The frame could be a bit stiffer, and still be comfortable. Similar Products Used: trek, specialized, and giant

at Oklahoma Velo Sports Favorite Ride: Tour de Tulsa Bike Setup: Aro Svelte w/ Sabre Carbon Fork and Shimano Ultegra 9 Speed Triple; set up as per Aegis frame kit sp Summary: This is a super ride and an uncompromised bicycle. The frame is a work of engineering art and uses the properties of carbon fiber to great advantatge. Comfortable on long rides and has very quick firm handling. Strengths: Great ride quality, quick handling. I've done century and metric century rides, criterium races, time trials and road races on this bike. It's comfortable for the long haul, and handles well at speed in a crowd. Weaknesses: This bike may feel a little twitchy for long tour riders; it is not a super ultralight so you may not acquire those bragging rights. Similar Products Used: TREK OCLV
