Strengths:    Frame. I love the CAAD frames and will buy another someday.

Weaknesses:    Somewhat suspect Cannondale CODA spec'd stuff - handlebar, seat, seatpost. Didn't care for the Mavic CXP 11 rims and Shimano RSX hubs that came stock. Buy, hey, for the price you can't beat this bike.

Bottom Line:
This beautiful bike has served me well through tens of thousands of miles. Still running the same 105 gruppo that it came stock with, though I had to replace the right shifter after 7 years. Upgraded the wheelset, crappy CODA seat, but otherwise kept her the same.

A local Cannondale dealer wants approx 5500 + tax
for this same bike set-up,but the good deals are out there.
Aluminum frame.
All carbon fiber ,stem, seat post, handlebars added for long rides,
carbon fiber from britton's bike shop,S.A.Tx.
San marcos seat from broadway bike, Paid. $8 last day the store was open
Titanium peddles & water cage because why cut corners on a bike this fine.
I was not happy with mavic derailer system,so mavic gave me
duro-ace system & ksysrium rims
Can you believe this deal , you can't touch it.
One of the finest bikes money could buy & I got it at a steal
Light weight , fast ,good hill climber for the Tx.Hill Country

Some-times when I ride, it feels as if the bike has it's own motor.

Strengths:    Handling, frame, 105 group, and light weight

Weaknesses:    Rear wheel seems to get out of true easily

Bottom Line:
I am primarily a mountain biker and this is my first road bike. I am six feet and 200 lbs and have put a lot of miles on this bike with no major problems. The aluminum frame is strong, feels very light and is well suited for larger riders. This bike is a great value and has great acceleration. The 105 group shifts smoothly and stops quickly. What more can you want is this price range?

Strengths:    This bike is a tank! I weight 190lbs and this thing has held up beautifully.

Weaknesses:    None so far

Bottom Line:
I use this bike for my every day training, Tri-Races, and it has held up beautifully. If I get dropped in a group or in a race believe me it won't be because of the bike.

Strengths:    Frame - superb finish and stiffness. Comfortable ride. General high overall quality. I rode 2,600 km last summer without a problem and was constantly impressed by the bike.

Weaknesses:    None although I may replace the saddle.

Bottom Line:
Excellent value (I bought mine as a discounted 1999 model in 2000). Appears to be very well designed and constructed. Frame finish is the best of any aluminum bike I have inspected.
