Strengths:    great build quality, durability, exclusivity and lotsa ooomph

Weaknesses:    a bit on the heavy side, long top tube requires an immediate shorter stem change (for most riders)

Bottom Line:
The mid geometry between road and TT bike makes it a great and versatile bike...CODA seat is comfy enough for short rides..a bit on the heavy side but in stock spec would make a GREAT training bike...a trade off in weight gives rock solid sealed hubs, spokes and rims...a head turner of a bike (gotta love that yellow finish)

Strengths:    Rigidity and Aero profile are first rate. After riding Cannondale mountain bikes for several years this is right inline with the quality I expect.

Weaknesses:    A little long in the top tube. I switched to a shorter stem and am comfortable now.

Bottom Line:
This was a leftover so for the money the value was outstanding. It is my first road bike in many years (mountain biking for the past 5) and it feels like a rocket. Easy shifting, comfortable and the quality I have come to expect from Cannondale.
If your looking for quality and value I would definately consider this bike as a contender.

Strengths:    Overall Feel. Product fits well - I'm average height (6ft) but have long arms, but I still feel comfy streching out over this rocket.

Weaknesses:    I'm coming off steel, so the ride was a little weird for me, I thought it was a little squishy at times. Responsive while in the saddle, a little delay out

Bottom Line:
Fast, light - I don't know what the hell these others are complaing about, we're talking about a solid, fast 18 pounder. Shifting is fair from low to high, better going down. Forget big to small ring, too clunky - you should stay in the big ring anyway.

All in all, I trust the bike, I ride about 140 - 220 miles a week, so its all good. Would have liked better tire, and the saddle sucks. Ride wise, comfort doesn't suffer as much as I thought it would, the bike handles the road well.

I wouldn't recommend this for heavier riders, nothing against the big guys, I just think when you pop out of the saddle to hammer, the ride will suffer. This is a perfect ride for 150 - 180 pnd riders.

Strengths:    Lime Green color
Aero dynamics

Weaknesses:    Compact, but that is how TT bikes are.
Ended up using more spacers.

Bottom Line:
Awesome bike, very fast when set up as a TT bike. Don't do what Tri-athletes do, using High rise stems to offset the lowered headtube. If you can't handle the lower body position, then get a regular road bike. I have cut about 2 minutes off my time with this bike. Yes, it is a little heavy, but TT bikes are not really meant to climb well. The only thing I wish the bike would have is the cut out in the seat tube, but Cannondales way works great too. The cut out is much more sexier though.

Strengths:    For my first road bike this one seems fast and smooth. I rode several other Cannondales and Treks before purchasing this one. I like the way I was stretch out and my positioning over the pedals. This bike handles very well and has good stock components.

Weaknesses:    The CODA seat has to go!!! After doing several rides I think I may also shorten the stem a little. Due to my weight, 208 lbs, I may also investin new wheels this spring.

Bottom Line:
Cannondales CAD4 frame is top quality and the bright yellow aero appearance is top rate. I have been very impressed with the quality of bike I got for the price. For someone really into serious racing it may be a bit heavy.
