Strength:

Great value for less than $600 (not much else comes close). Components may be "low end" but they seem to work just fine.

Weakness:

Works great but is rather nondescript - doesn''t draw a crowd at the local bike rides - no carbon, no Campagnola, no multi-colored paint job. But, it''s great fun to ride and besides, the bike shouldn''t be more impressive than the rider!

Very functional bike. Reasonably comfortable, reasonably light considering the price paid. Most components work fine, except Cannondale seat which has been replaced.

Only other bike I ride is a Raleigh mountain bike. Before that it was a blue Monarch that I got for Christmas in 1948.

Quick bike. Coming from a 25 year old Fuji, this thing seems like a rocket, but so did all the others tested. Price was the clincher. paid 600 for an 800 bike. What a deal.

Tested a Jamis Ventura (Cheap frame, nice Components), Trek 1000 (cheap frame, cheap components like hubs), Lemond Nevada City (Nice ride, didn't seem as quick or to climb as well as Cannondale)
