Strengths: Inexpensive, Light, Shimano UltegraWeaknesses: Customer Service!!!Bottom Line: For what you pay, this is a great bike. Enough said; however, let me inform you the unsatisfactory customer service I've been receiving from Fuji...Last Memorial Weekend, I noticed a crack in the paint on the seat tube just underneath the seat post clamp. With ten years of experience working on bikes, I tested, analyzed and concluded the frame was cracked. I even had a LBS mechanic check out the frame and he too concluded the frame was cracked. So, I mailed it to Colorado Cyclist for a warranty replacement but they informed me the frame had to go to Fuji USA for inspection. Fuji removed the paint around the cracked area and concluded the frame wasn't cracked. Fuji/Colorado Cyclist shipped the frame back to me with touchup paint to cover up the exposed seat tube. When I finally got the frame back from Colorado Cyclist (4 weeks had gone by since Memorial Weekend), I inspected the exposed area and noticed without a doubt, the frame was indeed cracked.
I went to two LBS for their confirmation and without laughing too hard, they saw the crack. Furious, I called Fuji and they stubbornly denied the frame was damaged. I realized the conversation was going nowhere so I called Colorado Cyclist and asked them if they even inspected the damaged frame. With a little "tap dancing" on their part, they basically said no but asked me to send the frame back (reimbursing the S&H fee...the first good thing to come out of this fiasco) and they would try to repair it by removing the top portion of the seat tube. Remove it?!?! I explained to Colorado Cyclist that I'm 6'5" and I'm not going to ride a 64cm converted to a 60cm. What happen to the days when a bike company replaced frames (sometimes with an upgrade) and apologize for the manufacture defect? Eventually, Colorado Cyclist admitted the frame had to be replaced and sent it back to Fuji again. Fuji finally agreed the frame had to be replaced but I'd have to wait for Fuji to receive the next batch on August 15 before they could mail me a warranty replacement (It's August 18th and yeah, I'm not holding breath).
Now, I don't know what Fuji was thinking or doing when they inspected my frame originally but I hope they don't believe their customers are ignorant or morons. Bike companies must take warranty issues seriously if they don't want a liability issue on their hands. Racing down a mountain pass at 50mph on a frame that "is not cracked" doesn't make me happy person right now. Fuji can forget marketing their bikes in Hawaii for awhile (and with this review, it doesn't help them nationwide). As a top racer on the Hawaiian Islands (yes, you can win races on a non-expensive bike), I can speak loud words and right now Fuji doesn't receive kudos from me. Honestly, I could care less I get a frame from them (I've gone on with something much better...Seven). I actually want them to apologize and realize that you don't neglect your customers. Fuji better wake up and realize there is something called the Internet (Thank you Road Bike Review) and letters to major bicycle magazines where customers can complain or compliment bike companies. What have I learned and what is my advice? Purchase a bike from your LBS. Face to face service will certainly help you buy a bike and deal with warranty issues if they ever come up. I still enjoy using mail order catalogs for components and accessories but no way will I ever buy a bike over the Internet or by Fuji again!

Strengths: Easton SC7000 Scandium main triangle, Time Millennium Fork, Ultegra componentsWeaknesses: OK, maybe the paint is a little suspect but so what!Bottom Line: I wasn't going to submit a review because I am relatively new to the sport but I realized what a fantastic deal I got. Love the bike and already put 2,600 miles on it. Now they are advertising it for what it really is- the best bike on the market for the money. Two words of recommendation- BUT IT.

Strengths: The aluminum frame is incredibly light and stiff. The Ultegra componentry equals Dura-Ace stuff. The carbon fiber Kinesis fork is one of the best in the market. The Mavic Open Pros, although not flashy, are light and sturdy.Weaknesses: The silver and purple paint job is splendid, but it's beginning to chip. But hell, that ain't gonna slow me down.Bottom Line: Listen, I've got a triathlon buddy of mine who rides this kick ass Pinarello. His bike is equipped with aero bars and we go down this straight road and I tear his legs off. Is it me, or the bike? Probably both, but considering his bike is five times the cost of mine, you have to think twice.
For the money, you will not find a faster, lighter bike than my Team Fuji. It's frightening how quick it is. I've got this Cat 3 friend who rides the TREK 5500 and we go out together on the Wednesday group rides and our climbing attacks get pretty violent. And I keep up with the guy.
I'm telling you: the Team Fuji is vicious. Buy one. On climbs, you can't even feel the thing underneath you. On descents, it's gone, but you have to be careful because it's a little touchy (because of the absurd light weight). How many other bikes can you can actually say weigh JUST over 17 lbs. and come in at around $2,000? Every penny of that two grand is SO worth it.

Bike Setup: Team Fuji, 58 cm. It's wicked: Thomson Elite seat post, San Marco seat, Cane Creek S5 headset, matching ITM Millenium 44 handlebars and 120 stem, Look pedals, Mavic Open Pros (the absolute best rim for the money), complete Ultegra componentry, Kinesis carbon fiber fork (sweeeeeeeeet), kevlar 23 Vittorias (which get chewed up pretty quickly).

Strengths: Light & set up with Ultegra.... & Light. Performed as I expected for tri-events. The aluminum frame does beat up the body on longer rides...composition fork very forgiving on the body. Overall a very good roll.
Weaknesses: Seat a bit hard.....some chain rattle at high gearsBottom Line: Very pleased. Bike out of box work fine....wheels being not true was my biggest fear. Colorado Cyclist people were fine. You can't get a comparable current year model at this price point. Fuji needs to get these bikes into some stores so that you can touch and feel it before buying.
