at Colorado Cyclist Bike Setup: stock, except for seat Summary: This is a follow up from my previous review. I have to say I really like this bike. I have found it to be very comfortable and have had few problems. During my first month I dumped the chain in the cogset from poor mech alignment. This is something I should have checked so it is not a flaw of the bike. I rebuilt the wheel and aligned the mech and have not had a single problem since.
I purchased the bike on closeout and am happy I did. I was looking for a replacement frame for more of a status simble but came to the conclusion of "why"? Strengths: Value, Components - Ultegra 600 Weaknesses: soft saddle Similar Products Used: None

at colorado cyclist Favorite Ride: btoc Bike Setup: ultegra Summary: You will probably read my review on the team fuji in which I had a problem with frames breaking. I just wanted to let everyone know about the excellent customer service I recieved after posting my review. Fuji is setting me up with an upgraded frame due to the problems I had with their product. I want to commend them for providing customer service that is hard to come by in this day and age.

at Two Wheel Transit Favorite Ride: Valley Chapel, Tour d' Lac Bike Setup: Purchased as frameset. Lets just say eclectically pleasing. Summary: Frame is very zippy and good crit bike. Climbs well, but difficult on rough pavement. BB flex can be a problem in sprints. Bike frame is an excellent value. From the other comments I need to correct some information.
Fuji is one of the oldest bicycle manufactures. This frame was made by Kinesis of Taiwan and is similar to other AL frames built by Kinesis, in particular Specialized. Strengths: Price, light weight Weaknesses: Too stiff for long races and slightly unstable on rough pavement. Similar Products Used: Many years of racing frames, replaced with 2001 LeMond Maillot d' Jeune

at LBS Bike Setup: Stock Summary: Frame on this bike is terrible! My frame broke after riding over a pothole near my house. The frame snapped on the down tube and the top tube. Fuji refused to replace my frame. Fuji doesn't stand behind their product or warranty. The wheels, tires, and fork were fine; absolutely no damage. Advice: If you plan to ride over potholes, or want a company that stands behind their product with good customer service, DON'T BUY THIS BIKE! Value: One star, because you get what you pay for. Go for a higher quality company. I would rate it lower if I could, because a bike is worthless without a frame. Overall: Two Stars for the Ultegra components, wheels and fork. If Fuji doesn't expect people to ride over potholes, they shouldn't sell bikes. Strengths: Paint Setup Wheels Fork Weaknesses: DURABILITY Customer Service Frame Ride Similar Products Used: Cannondale, GT

| | Favorite Ride: fuji team Bike Setup: Ultegra, Mavic Open Pros, Ritchey stem and bar,Profile seat tube, Zipp hubs Summary: Mine has the team issue frameset because it is actually one of the Mercury team bikes from 1999 (Scott Moninger). It rides like the wind, looks attractive and didn't break the bank account. I would be happy to put this frame up against most any of the high-priced European frames.
I don't think you could go wrong whether you're a serious racer (which I'm hoping to become) or a recreational rider. The value and performance are a steal regardless. Strengths: extremely light, responsive, void of the extra large downtube usually associated with aluminum frames, unpretentious, Mercury team rides 'em! Weaknesses: Not too many distributors. The bike has no weaknesses that I'm aware of. Similar Products Used: Peugeot PX10E
