Strengths:    The Reynolds 853 frame is light (61 cm frame, full bike, loaded seat bag= 19 ilbs), strong and responsive. The fuji carbon fork is a plus for the price. I upgraded several things such as the wheels. Climbs like a son of gun, handles like a dream.

Weaknesses:    Trying to find the bike. Bicycling gave this bike a good review so many of the frams have been snatched up, good luck or wait till next year. I ditched the Ritchey wheels and put on Mavic classics elite. I'm 6'2' 195 and ride on bumpy stuff in the dc area so I needed something stonger and more durable.

Bottom Line:
Buy this if your wanting to get a serious road bike but don't want to end up on food stamps. You get an almost ready to race bike for a great price. The frame by itself could almost cost $1300, Fuji has done a great job. The bike is fast and furious, pull up next to some guy on a $4,000 dollar bike and you'll give him a run for his money, and if your good you may leave him in the dust.

Price Paid:    $1500.00

Purchased At:   East Coast Bike Academy

Similar Products Used:   I tested various Marin, LeMond, Cannondale, Specialized Allenz and the Jamis Quest. The price on the Fuji and Jamis were similair but the Jamis was heavier with lower grade steel. For the price you can't go wrong.

Bike Setup:   105 group, Mavic Classics elite wheels, Selle Italia seat, Kore bar.
