Price Paid:  $460.00 at ebay frame and fork

Favorite Ride:
Jay peak vermont

Bike Setup:
full ultegra with mavic cosmos wheelset

Summary:
Stiff and Fast. This bike's excellent for intense short to medium length rides.
On longer rides I find that it lacks the comfort that my old aluminium bike had made of 7003 tubing(I thought that aluminium was the worst material for comfort try a frame of 853 tubing)I do love the bike for what it delivers though and will keep it but supliment it with another machine for those long outings.

Strengths:
fast amazing sprinter, excellent finish,
beautiful classic aesthetic, powers up instantaneously. Great for chasing people down.

Weaknesses:
too harsh, bike jars and will sap you of energy after 130km as the stiff 853 tubing transmits all the road into your body. The bike is also too much on the heavy side

Favorite Ride:
Pinarello prince

Bike Setup:
Full Dura-Ace

Summary:
The bike is the absolute stiffest you can buy. You will not find anything better. The bikes Dura-ace compo. makes you a changed man after you ride it. The shifting is so clear and does not give you any crap. The bike also makes you feel like you are going extremely fast. but at my 23 mph you feel free.

Strengths:
Stiffy. Fast. reliable. Period

Weaknesses:
Not for the inexperienced or light hearted

Price Paid:  $1850.00 at Fastrack Bicycles

Favorite Ride:
Gibralter Road

Bike Setup:
Ultegra, Rolf Vector, Time, Bontrager, etc.

Summary:
This bike is quick enough, handles well, and has an intangible "feel-factor" that is hard to describe. it may simply be a good match of frame geometry and my personal physiognomy, or it could be the sum total of myriad small decisions that went into designing and building this frame. in any case, i'd recommend it to those looking for a steel bike built to last as long as you do.

Strengths:
feel, frame geometry, looks pretty decent too. responsive but not to the point of twitchy. frame has lifetime warranty.

Weaknesses:
well, there are lighter bikes out there... But in the sub 2k price range they feel rather harsh to me.

Similar Products Used:
test rode all sorts of stuff. Bianchi Talladega, KHS flight (Al/carbon), Giant OCR/TCR, many others i can't recall.
