Strengths: Solid package and reliable ride.Weaknesses: The fitting that I received at the store. Take your time and ensure that whoever is fitting you has cycling experience!Bottom Line: This was my first road bike back in '97. I don't think I was fit properly by the guys at the store which is why I have always felt spread out on it and uncomfortable in the drops. It's a 58cm and I am 5' 9 3/4" tall at 180lbs. However I have received more compliments on the Reynolds 853 frame than I can count. I never really knew what it was until people started to recognize it even at it's relatively advanced age. I've even gotten offers to trade. It rides okay, but I have nothing to compare it to other than my new recently purchased Scattante CFR Limited. It's always taken me where I've wanted to go, no matter how many miles, and the Campy groupo on my 107 has never given me any grief.
I purchased Performance brands because I choose not to pay Lance, Ivan or Jan's salaries when I bought my bike and NONE OF THEM ARE IN THE TOUR THIS YEAR. Embarrassing and unprofessional should any of the accussations turn out to be factual.

Similar Products Used: Scattante CFR Limited (just like it, but different)
