Strengths:    Smooth, stiff, beautiful

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
This is a 2001 model in silver with black trim. I bought it used from the classifieds on this site. The previous owner was meticulous in his care of this bike.

Sweet Ride! Comfortable, stiff, quick. It really does glide over road imperfections yet is completely stable. It's absolutely exhilirating! Plus, I get compliments on the bike every time I go on a group ride.

I now understand why great frames are really expensive!

Strengths:    Light and comfortable yet stiff. Handles well. Nice paint job, that doesn't chip easily.

Weaknesses:    Tig welds could be neater. Long wait for bike. Price, this was a year end special, the frame lists for 2100.

Bottom Line:
Comfortable over rough roads. Descends well with stability. Great combination of stiffness and comfort. I can climb 2 gears higher than older steel bike. Neck and back feel better than on previous steel bike.

Strengths:    The feeling of flying on a thin layer of air above rough pavement, and still have total control over the bike.
The beatiful paint job.
The many avalible sizes and paint colours.

Weaknesses:    The thin walls of the tubes are sensitive during transportation.
The price.
The waiting time for getting the colour and the size you want.

Bottom Line:
Comfortable, but responsive.
All the small vibration peaks from roads with rough surface are damped. At the same time the feeling of steering the bike is very precise and confident.
The bike is excellent for spending many hours in the saddle even on bad roads. After a hole day you still want to drive.

Strengths:    Light weight, beautiful paint work and rigidity. And it is steel! Steel is real and is also romantic.

Weaknesses:    Hard to get. You may need to wait for a couple of months. But the wait is well worth it.

Bottom Line:
I have put sevral hundred kilos on the bike and did micro-adjustments and am ready to write my first impression on this bike.

The ride of this bike is in one word very ?responsive?. It transforms my leg power into forward motion instantaneously without any hesitation. And it does it so happily. I believe this ?happy? part of transformation is a steel quality. I'm sure that there are other bikes that handle this transformation of power equally well, but the quality of it is a steel magic. I enjoy this great feeling of being one with the bike each time I ride it. It's great, and I love it.
