Strengths: Light, stiff, comfortable, stable, quick. No drawbacks.Weaknesses: None that I've noticed in over 5K miles.Bottom Line: 2002 EOS3. 54cm x 54.5cm. Columbus Niva OR TIG'd tubeset, carbon fork. 50% off on a season ending closeout. Fabulous ride quality of steel with the additional stiffness of a large cross-section "geoid" downtube. Terrific quality. Finish, paint, fit are all better than the big name competitors such as Colnago and Bianchi. Hand-built in Trevisio. Scapin built all of Lemonds steel bikes before the name was bought up by Trek. A very light frame. Weighs in at 3.7 pounds on my LBS digital scale. That compares very nicely with the uncomfortable exotica that one pays three times as much for. Also has the benefit of a nickel treatment on the inside of the tubing as a rust preventative. Can't imagine why anyone rides aluminum when steel bikes like these are available for 100 mile days and multi-day tours.
Favorite Ride: Hotter N Hell, BTC or any Century in SE PA.

Strengths: great steering. the a.w.p. really holds up--no rust on the frame after over 25,500 miles. it's plenty stiff and light enough. and best of all, it's unusual. for the money this is a great deal in a completely in-house, hand-built frame.Weaknesses: speed wobble shimmy at speed on descents--although this could be user-generated since it only happens early in races (and I've had the bike up over 54 mph before on a descent)Bottom Line: A solid, comfortable, reliable bike.

Strengths: Confort, efficiency, beauty, responsivenessWeaknesses: You need to be carefull of the type of wheeels you use.
It's a stell bike, and smoother wheels destroy the dynamic behavior. Choose: helium cosmic or spynergy(not hte spox). wheelsBottom Line: A great bike for ones who ride 10 000 kms a year and who are looking towards mountains, and long ride even at hight speed.
Leave alumium for short fast ride
