Serotta holds true to its commitment to quality and performance with the Clasique Ti. Light weight, nimble handaling, and exceptional welds put this bike in a league above simalarly priced frames.

    Strength:

Titanium: easy to maintain and not as bad to look at as I had heard titanium was ("battleship gray" lines)
Components: Ultegra 9 speed STI...great dependable stuff!
Carbon fiber fork: Helps make for a smooth yet stable ride
Serotta name: quality workmanship and excellent company support
Decals/color: blue with yellow outlined decals and matching blue carbon fiber fork look very nice on the bike

    Weakness:

    None thus far

Really nice bike at a great eBay price! Bike is very comfortable, feels light on climbs yet stable and secure on descents, welds are well-done, geometry and materials make for a great ride. I had never even ridden titanium before but I can see by my early riding on this one it is a nice material for bikes. The Serotta Classique Ti is affordable and very high quality...a great combination in my book!

    Strength:

The bike looks great. It is lightweight, responsive, and a smooth ride. I traded my Trek aluminum in and couldn't believe the confort and speed gain on long rides. I think it is good value for the price. A good deal to get onto a titanium frame for under $2,500.

    Weakness:

Coming up with $2,500 to begin with and convincing the wife that it was worth it. (I ended up buying two. One for me and one for her)

Made riding a bike much more fun than my previous aluminum Trek. Rode more in 2000 than the five years prior put together. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a $2,000 to $2,500 bike, especially if they are wanting titanium. I already have 5,000 miles on it and it still looks new.

    Strength:

Value and quality. The Classique does away with all that 'pseudo-science' that most frame builders harp about and delivers a well-designed, immaculately constructed bike at a great price.

    Weakness:

No big weaknesses to speak of. I would have preferred a metal 'Serotta' logo on the front vs. the decal it comes with.

Unbelievable quality for the price, and Serotta will semi-customize per your instructions. Weld quality leads the market and the paint (which is standard no-cost on Serotta titanium) lasts and lasts. I've put 14,000 miles on the bike in 18 months and it looks and rides like new.

    Strength:

Quality is exceptional! The ride is buttery smooth. Parts components are raceable.

    Weakness:

None whatsoever! The limitations/weakness of this bike is placed well on the rider's capabilities.

If you can afford it invest in a good quality titanium bike. This will be considered as one of those "lifer" frames. The Serotta Classique Ti is the company's Ti entry level, and it provides a dreamy ride. Can you imagine what a custom titanium Serotta would feel like? Steel maybe "real," but titanium is something else! Anyway, this bike lives up to it's name...years from now it will still provide me a classic ride.

I've tried my friend's Litespeed Tuscany and Torelli Countach OS, but it still does not compare, nor does my old Cannondale as a matter of fact...that ol' butt bruiser. Oh, I've tried a Giant carbon too, but it did not tickle my fancy.
