Strengths:    Forgiving and Fast- I am a believer in the previous year's technology.

Weaknesses:    As a 200 pound Strong rider I found it just a little flexie in a spirited sprint to the city limits sign among friends. I also had to re-spoked both wheels at 2500 Mi (Rear) and 5500 Mi (Front). Seat was made for someone elses anatomy, and the DA BB was out of sorts at 3500 Mi-$39 to replace + BB tools so no big deal.

Bottom Line:
Close-out in Feb 2001, Great value! I would recommend this to any person looking for a resonsive, relatively light bike (18.4lbs). Very Fun-replacing a 10 y.o. steel Dura-Ace Bike @ 22.5lbs.

Strengths:    Very fast, very light bike. Dura Ace components. Great handling and acceleration. Excellent at steep hills.

Weaknesses:    Somewhat harsh ride is used for extreme distance. Not very forgiving in the rear of the bike.

Bottom Line:
Excellent bike if you can get it cheap enough. Dura Ace components work great, the bike is very light and likes to climb. Somewhat harsh if used for distance, but great for sprints. Great bike for racers, rough for tours. I think it is worth checking out if in the market for a new bike. Have put 1100 miles on it thus far, and think it is a very good value for the money.

Strengths:    It is an excellent bike for the money. It weighs about 17 pounds and goes through the wind like a hot knife through a stick of butter.

Weaknesses:    It is quite costly.

Bottom Line:
It is an excellent bike for the money and is easier to bring it up to higher top speeds than other bikes. This is the bike for everyone!
