Summary:
This is one outstanding bike. Main reason we chose the Vision over the Rans is the stoker bottom bracket is about the same height as the stoker seat -- so the seat-to-crank angle does not change as the seat moves forward or backward. This is a real plus for short stokers (stroke is out, not down) as well as my (rapidly) growing son. The dynamics of his cadence will not change as he moves further back from the crank. We have not experienced any of the "frame flex" mentioned by others -- with more than 1000 mi of mostly hilly roads behind us. We are a relatively light team, however (300 lbs total). Highly recommend the drum brake as stopping the thing at 50 mph with anything else is a gamble.

Strengths:
comfort, stoker crank height

Weaknesses:
weight. Seems all recumbent tandems are too heavy.
