Strengths: Bike is beautiful Oak Green (like British racing green) with honey color Brooks leather saddle. Smooth shifting, smooth rolling, no buzz in your hands from rough roads. handles boards and chuck holes just fine. Plenty of braze ons for pannier racks and 2 water bottle bottle holders. Also carries 2 spare spokes!Weaknesses: At 25 lb, a tad heavier than it could be. Factory pedals were chintzy, orig ritchey comp stem not as good as the Dura ace I got in the deal. Factory tires are 32 and wider than needed except for full load tours. Seat post clamp is not quick release type. Could easily be and make life on teh road simpler. No factpory fenders sold for the bike, after market only.Bottom Line: This is a new old stock left over. The dealer was ready to deal to unload it, so I got the bike with a dura ace stem, special handlebar wraps, high end spd clipless pedals and a Brooks Conquest seat out the door for 685.00 I swapped tires even up with the dealer for some road tread 700 x 25 kevlar belted. The bike glides over the rough stuff. No fatigue at all. It is an exceptional hill climber, not super fast on the straightaway. very smooth, you lose almost no speed when coasting for quite some time.
Price Paid:
$685.00
Purchased At: Jack's Bicylces, bay
Similar Products Used: Trek 200 (don't laugh) is almost same wheelbase and fork angle, lower gears and no braze ons of course.
Bike Setup: Shimano RSX drivetrain and hubs. WTB cnc alum rims 36 spokes. Ritchey cockpit. front gears 30/42/52. Rear cogs 12,13,14,16,18,21,24,28. I use 42/18 and 52/21 most of the time when flat to tour at 16 to 18 MPH loaded.

Strengths:
wide rims.
sustain a beating.
cheap.Weaknesses:
heavy, but just work on you pedal strokes and leg strengthBottom Line: If you are just getting into road riding and the terrain you might encounter might not be all that great, this is a great bike. Its also a very cheap bike compared to others out there. And I enjoy going cross-country with it, which personally does me fine. The only problems I've had are flats, but that going to happen to every bike unless it sits in the garage.
Favorite Ride:
