Strengths: Shimano 105's
Easy and responsive handling
Very dependableWeaknesses: Cheap Selle San Marco saddle
The rear rack is on the flimsy sideBottom Line: For my hard earned money this is one outstanding bicycle. The componets are flawless, handling and ride are great. I bought this bike as a way to commute back and forth from work but I have also used it in the 111 mile El Tour de Tucson, as well as other 100K & 50K rides. Although that's not what this bike is built to do, it got the job done. For a better ride I replaced the cheap Selle San Marco saddle with a better one. Also I had to swap out the stem but this was only due to my personal preference. This will be the very bike I will use when I ride from Wash D.C. to Cleveland in the near future. Simply put, this bike is that dependable.

Strengths: Solid frame, No road buzz, Good components, Brawny brakesWeaknesses: Seat-good for roadie with avg.to below avg butt size.Bottom Line: I commute occaisionaly and ride on the weekends and I wanted a bike that would do both well. I need to carry some clothing and paper work so I needed utility. I had been riding a Trek 1200 3 years and I liked the bikes quality and handling, but disliked being jolted on the shake-n-bake gravel roads down here. I also want to do some light touring next year so this bike seemed to do all this at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with the bike. I road it 3 times for 75 miles, then did my first century in 6:30 with no discomfort ! The fat IRC tires take some time to get used to if you're accustomed to slicks. I was able to cruise along with these tires at 15-18 mph with no problem. I weigh 235 lbs and this bike carries me at 35 mph plus downhill and remains rock steady. The bar end shifters are sturdy and reliable, but take some getting used to. I will test out it's load carrying this summer. But as a bulletproof commuter and a respectable road machine it is a good value.

Strengths: Excellent components for the money, extra strong wheels, smooth as a "60 Chevy" ride.Weaknesses: Seat, rack & tiresBottom Line: The bike is a fantastic commuter. I'm a heavy person and the ride is smoother than I expected. Most everything I changed came from my mini van destroyed Miyata and are components that I found make the bike fit me better. The stock Duosport tires where great on the long ride but felt like I was turning off a step on the commute. Would probably have turned smoother in time but I opted for the swap while the shop was willing. I don't think you can top the basic components used on this bike for the money. Stripped or loaded the bike has handled extremely well and makes me feel I can climb anything.
I would recommend this bike to anyone who can only afford one bike to use for touring, commuting, and organized rides. I expect it will last me a lifetime.

Strengths: great for touring and daily commuting. nice wheel set and decent components. extra rear eyelets are nice. smooth ride. good touring handling.Weaknesses: the seat it came with is too soft. its a little on the heavy side (no biggie). rear rack seems flimsy.Bottom Line: If you want an uncompromised touring bike, look no further. Try to swap the seat and the rear rack for store credit. The seat it comes with is only comfortable for the first few miles, and the rack it comes with has a lot of flex. In fact, on the tour I just completed, the rack bolts worked loose once. It did, however, handle a full touring load without breaking, not to mention my daily commuting load. I might swap out the 30 tooth granny for a 26 or 28 tooth so I can spin more on the passes, but the way it is is not that big of a deal.
