    Price Paid:  $0.00

    Bike Setup:
    full DA with 909

    Summary:
This bike is hot. I've used it in only three races, but my bike was the best split of the day those three times.

I got a great deal on it, and the wheels, so that helps a bit also. $3000 for full DA and zipp 909s. Not bad.

Nice responsive frame, very light when climbing. I love the seat tube angle, saddle a little forward, I get 78, saddle a little back, I get 74. Perfect.

    Strengths:
    light, compact.

    Weaknesses:
When I told my family how much I spent on it, they asked me if it cycled itself. Even 2000 is a bit steep for a hobby. What rides on top of my car is more valuable than the car itself, that's screwed up priorities.

Price Paid:  $2100.00 at Rider Bikes

    Bike Setup:
54cm, 700c, ultegra, mavic cpx21 wheels, aero bars.

    Summary:
A great titanium ride and a sleek looking bike. The best value in the $2,000 price range by far. I like the handling, the responsiveness, and am looking forward to racing this speed machine.

    Strengths:
This bike is light and responsive. When climbing hills, I just fly compared to my old ride. The bike is quite handsome and has a high "cool" factor.

    Weaknesses:
It would be really nice to find a bike of this quality at a price below $1,000 but compared to other bikes, the Airborne is a great value. It is priced comparable to other aluminum frames but you get the benefit of shock absorption due to the titanium frame.

    Schwin, Javelin.

    Price Paid:  $600.00

    Bike Setup:
Full ultegra with syntace bars and dura ace shifters.

    Summary:
I really am a fan of this bike, Everytime I'm on the bike someone asks me about it. The looks are great and The finish is easy to take care of. If you dont want to refinance your house to buy your next bike, but you want a great ride, look at this bike. I have never felt better in the second transition.

    Strengths:
This is a much smoother ride than my old Cervelo p2k. The bike is still very stiff and has good power transfer. I like that the setup is a little closer to road bike positioning, This makes it easier to switch back and forth between the two. I like the looks of the bike and I find that the people who are most critical of the appearance are the bike snobs who probably payed way too much for their titanium bike. At the price you cannot find a bike of equivelent comfort and value out there.

    Weaknesses:
    I havent found any yet..

    Similar Products Used:
    Cannondale CAAD3, Cervelo p2k, litespeed

    Price Paid:  $2400.00 at Airborne

    Favorite Ride:
Sunday morning group ride/race through old Naples

    Bike Setup:
    full ultegra

    Summary:
reccomended to all who want an exceptionally performing titanium frame.

    Strengths:
Incredible Bike. I picked up 1.5 MPH in 10 mile time trial. In addition, the bike has incredible accelleration compared to my previous ride - I weigh in at 240 lbs and I now am winning sprints during my Sunday team ride over 40-50 miles. I have ridden it in 2 triathlons with great results. My riding buddies are amazed......haha.

the frame is beautiful! great craftmanship.

The people at Airborne are first class.

    Weaknesses:
skip the ultegra wheels. pinch flats galore. Too hard to change.
